The plain-language summary

FTF Live pairs two strangers for a private video call, and you can look around the whole site without handing over anything personal. What follows is a tour of the information the service handles when you read a page, start a call or keep a guest session alive. Every public page — this one, the guides, the landings — is open to all and collects nothing about who you are.

Your camera and microphone

A video call cannot happen without your camera and microphone, and the on/off switch for both belongs to your browser, not to us. Nothing turns on until you press allow, you can take the permission back at any moment, and every call happens in a closed room of two: no spectators, no public broadcast, nothing installed on your device.

The routine data a live call needs

Running live conversations requires some unglamorous technical records: rough device and browser information, server logs with IP addresses and timestamps, and aggregated, anonymized patterns of how pages are used. Your guest session holds exactly what makes it work — your remaining free matches and any coin balance. Checkout runs entirely through external payment processors, so complete card numbers never reach our servers; the terms of service describe the same arrangement from the legal side.

Cookies, briefly

We set a small set of cookies: the ones that hold your session together during a call, a few that remember small preferences, and anonymous counters that tell us which pages people read. Some are strictly necessary — calls simply cannot function without them. The full inventory, and how to refuse or delete each kind, lives in the cookie policy.

What a report shares

When you tap report or block, the context around that session can be attached to a moderation review — that is the mechanism the team uses to act on abuse and to keep repeat offenders from re-entering the queue. The standards applied in those reviews are public: the community guidelines.

The choices that remain yours

Camera on or off, stay or skip, keep the guest session or wipe it — ending a call is one tap and closing the tab is one more. To see, correct or erase the information tied to your session, reach us via the contact page. Personal information is not for sale here, today or ever.
